PUTRAJAYA, June 8 (Bernama) -- The number of Influenza Like Illness (ILI) has dropped from 49 to 44 said Health Director-General Tan Sri Dr Mohd Ismail Merican over the past two days.

  1. About Influenza A(H1N1)

    Influenza A(H1N1) is a new influenza virus causing illness in people. This new virus was first detected in people in the United States in April 2009. This virus is spreading from person-to-person worldwide

  2. Prevention and Treatment

    In Malaysia, there is still no vaccine available to public to protect against Influenza A(H1N1) virus. However, Influenza A(H1N1) vaccine is currently in production overseas and may be available for the public in Malaysia in the near future.
